Frequently Asked Questions

What insurances do you accept?

We are in-network with most major health insurances. Please contact our office at (405) 949-1800 to verify acceptance of your plan.

Do I need a referral to make an appointment?
No, you do not need a referral to make an appointment unless your insurance requires one. If you can have your primary care physician fax us your recent office notes with what symptoms you are experiencing and any imaging reports that will help us to help you be prepared for your visit with us.

How is the doctor-patient relationship different here, compared to other hospitals or clinics?
We believe that our staff members are leaders in providing patient-focused care. We take the time to listen to patients’ concerns and address any questions they may have. We allot hour long appointment times to ensure patients leave our office feeling heard, well educated in their diagnosis and treatment options, and with the best possible treatment plan. We value all of our patients and appreciate the long-lasting relationships we create with them.

Dr. Stanfield and Bobby Green PA-C are available to our patients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you are needing to reach us after hours you may either leave a message in our general mail box and we will return your call the following business day or you can leave a message for our on-call provider. You will always be called back by Dr. Stanfield or Bobby Green PA-C as soon as possible. This means you will be able to talk to someone who knows your unique treatment plan, knows who you are and more importantly someone you know and trust.

How will I pay for my care?
If you have insurance, please bring your insurance card(s) with you to your appointment and we will bill your insurance company directly for your appointment(s). We are in-network with most insurance companies.
However, to determine what coverage your plan offers please contact your insurance provider to understand the terms of your policy. If you are not insured, we require payment at the time of service. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please contact our billing office, Administrative Advantage at (405) 292-5500 for any questions concerning a bill or payment.

We strive to have all aspects of our practice, including our professional fees, reflect our ethical and rational approach to your care.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

1-Your New Patient paper work. When we book an appointment with you we mail the paper work to you or you can print it from this website under New Patients.

2-All new and old imaging (xrays, CT, MRI) with you to EVERY appointment. This is essential for our review and to allow for timely medical care.  Your referring physician, or the imaging facility, may have attempted to send the images but, in our experience, this is often difficult to accomplish. It is always best to call the facility where your imaging was done and have them prepare it ahead of time so it will be ready to pick up when you are. Bringing a copy with you to your appointment guarantees it will be available for us to view and allow us to provide you with a thorough evaluation.

3-Updated list of medications including dosage

4-Insurance cards, ID and copay (we accept cash and credit cards)

What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel an appointment, please contact our office at 405-949-1800 as soon as possible.  We appreciate at least a 24 hour notice to cancel all appointments.  Please be sure to contact us if you will not be able to make your scheduled appointment so that time can be made available to another patient in need. There may be a $50 charge for late cancellations or no shows.

Do you allow urgent or same day appointments?
We do set aside time for urgent visits, however they usually require a call from your primary care physican or referring clinic.  If you feel you are having an emergency, please dial 9-1-1 or go to your nearest emergency room.
